SAP announces the launch of Digital Supplier Network (DSN), a solution that allows ETIs and SMEs using SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA to digitize the supply chain and financial exchanges with their suppliers in a matter of weeks at a lower cost, including the ordering process, consumption forecasts, logistics monitoring, electronic invoice (tax dematerialization) and downstream payment tracking and optimization.
On the Procure-to-pay (P2P) process, the digitization of purchases guarantees medium-sized companies gains often amounting to millions of euros within 2 to 3 years, with action levers at several levels.
When the company reaches a critical size and stakeholders (end-users, prescribers, buyers, suppliers, accountants, management controllers, suppliers, etc.) multiply, or when the general management strengthens its requirements in terms of purchasing and financial performance and associated reporting, the opportunity or even the need to have a dedicated digital solution appear.
The new procedure for automatic creation of purchase requisitions takes place in three steps: data extraction, analysis and classification, creation of the purchase requisition in SAP Ariba.
